How to Identify Skin Types
Your skin is the first thing that one notices about you. It speaks for not just beauty but also health. That is why, it’s important to keep some skin care tips in mind in order to have a flawless glowing skin. There are many products available in the market which can help you repair, moisturise and replenish your skin. But for that it is important to know your skin type. Here’s a simple test that can help you identify your skin type.

Step 1
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser after removing all make up and pat dry. Leave it for an hour without touching your face.

Step 2
Dab your face with a clean white tissue. Pay attention to the changes in the tissue especially after wiping the nose and forehead area.

Step 3
The characteristics of your skin are captured in the tissue in form of dirt or oil. You can now classify your skin as follows and repair it accordingly using the skin care tips mentioned:

Normal skin
shows neither oil nor flaking skin. It feels supple and smooth. People with a normal skin type need to practice good skin care tips to maintain the health of their skin. Wash your face daily with a good cleanser and moisturise the skin with a lotion that contains SPF protection. This will ensure an ageless glowing skin.

Oily skin
will attract grease on the tissue. People with oily skin are prone to blackheads, blemishes and breakouts. Therefore, cleansing on a regular basis is an absolute must. After washing the skin, use a toner to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells from the face. An oil-free moisturiser can then be applied to hydrate the skin.

Dry skin
may feel tight or show flakes of dead skin. People with dry skin are prone to premature signs of aging, which makes proper skin care particularly important. It is also associated with small pores. A good moisturiser with SPF protection should be worn on a daily basis. Use a gentle face wash to cleanse the skin, and apply a night cream before going to bed to seal in the moisture.

Combination skin
is when the tissue has oil spots from just your forehead, nose and chin. It can be hard to manage because different areas of the skin require different treatments. The skin care tip that can resolve these issues is to wash the skin daily with a good cleanser and use a toner on your nose and forehead to remove oil and dead skin. Apply an oil-free moisturiser all over your face, but make sure to concentrate on particularly dry areas of the skin.

As you can see, almost all skin types require moisturising. You can use Dabur Gulabari rose water which acts as a toner, moisturiser, cleanser as well as astringent. It can be used on all skin types coupled with other products. Owing to its natural composition, it causes no side effects either. Now you can enjoy a supple glowing skin with these skin care tips!
