Hi friends, here is the review of the recently launched Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil. This oil is meant to prevent hair fall and give silky bouncy hair. Unfortunately I cannot use hair oil because it causes my face to break out. So this review is based on a friends experience
The oil comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap. This makes it easy to use the oil and store it. The oil itself looks olive green just like virgin olive oil. The consistency is runny and overall the oil feels light on the hair. My friend has curly dry hair and says her hair feels straighter after using this. Basically she says its great as a styling oil for extra dry unruly hair.
I tried this oil on the ends of my hair and did find that the texture was light and my hair ends did feel smoother after shampooing. As far as the hair fall control is concerned its still too early to say anything in that regard. My friend has noticed that her hair is more manageable after using this oil for an hour and then shampooing. She also feels that her hair seems generally healthier after her weekly oil routine. Since the oil has a light texture its easier for her to style her hair by using this oil even on dry hair.
I personally feel it is good to do a weekly head massage with a good quality hair oil and this one has the goodness of both olives and almonds. I really wish I could use this because the hair fall control is quite promising to me. My friend is going to continue to use this and I will update this post with her final declaration in this regard.
If you are on the lookout of a good hair oil, give this one a shot. Its available in different sizes with a 200ml bottle priced at Rs 110 .
