How To Tame Your Frizzy Hair
Frizzy hair can cause you to hide in your burrow and make guest appearances in your social circle on those lucky few good hair days. Well, not anymore. If using fancy hair care products didn’t work for you and the expert’s advice yielded no good results, give nature a chance. Try these natural hair care tips and frizzy hair will soon be a thing of past.
  • Give the frizz some fizz treatment
This is the easiest and most effective hair care tip for controlling frizzy hair. Simply rinse your hair with carbonated water after washing your hair. Carbonated water is made by using pressure to dissolve carbon dioxide gas in water. This water has low pH levels that help fight frizz caused by humidity.
  • Banana hair car tip
Mash a ripe banana to make a smooth mixture. Mix it with one fourth cup of yogurt and add two tablespoons each of honey and olive oil. Apply this mask on your hair and keep it for 30 minutes with a shower cap. Wash off your hair with shampoo. This will make your hair smooth and silky.
  • Coconut oil for soft and velvety hair
When your hair gets frizzy, it’s important that you know what your scalp is crying for. This hair care tip will tell just that. Frizzy hair means that you need to oil your hair and provide the moisture it craves. Heat up one cup of Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil and apply it on your hair while massaging it. Cover your hair with a shower cap and wrap a hot towel around your head to increase moisture absorption. You should ideally do it at night so that there’s ample time to absorb the moisture, or else keep it for half an hour at least. Shampoo and rinse your hair with cold water. Do this three times a week for best results.
  • Give your hair the love of lemon and honey
Lemon contains vital vitamins and minerals that promote healthy hair, while honey is considered the ultimate moisturiser. So let’s combine the power of both into one hair care tip. Take two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and honey. Dilute it with a cup of water and mix it well. Now apply it on the ends of your hair after washing them. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash with warm water and a mild shampoo. Do this once or twice a week to get shiny and healthy hair.
  • Bright and sunny side up
Hair loves eggs. Almost all hair woes can be answered with eggs. Egg yolks are rich in fats and proteins and are naturally moisturising. Egg whites contain enzymes that kill bacteria and remove unwanted oils from the scalp. This is why eggs are often used to treat frizzy hair. Whisk one egg and add one teaspoon of olive oil to it. Mix it well. Apply it on your hair and leave it on for about a half an hour before washing.
